El 4 en chino se pronuncia igual que muerte (shi), se escribe diferente pero se pronuncia igual. Por esa razón ningún médico, hospital o compañía de aviones usa un número 4 , los vuelos y las matrículas de autos no titenen este numero, los edificios y hospitales no tienen el " cuarto " piso.
En los hospitales no existe la habitación numero 42 (shi-ni) ya que éste es un número de muy mal augurio, pudiendo ser su significado la expresión "prepararse para morir". De la misma forma, algunos hospitales de maternidad no poseen habitación 43 (shi-san) ya que se pronuncia igual que "parto muerto".
Personalmente el numero cuatro siempre me ha traido mala suerte , como el cuarto mes de cada año , cuando tenia 4 años y 13 (1+3=4) vivi cosas mui feas y asi sucesivamente todo lo ke suma cuatro solo me trae cosas feas.

Personally ,the number four always has been unlucky for me , like the 4th month of the year , when i was 4 years and 13(1+3=4) i lived very bad experiences , and so on ...all that have a number 4 ...just bring me bad and ulgy things.
